Hi, My name is Noah, and I'm the Dungeon Master here at MC2's Dungeons and Dragons club.
The DnD club meets every friday (although I'm planning on changing it to thursday) after school and we play until 8:00. I recently replaced our previous dungeon master Brendan after he graduated from the school. I should probably start talking about myself now. I'm a 14 year old student here at MC2. I joined here just about a year ago and have made quite a few friends in the short time I've been here. I love to game and I've been gaming for most of my life. I usually play all types of video games but just a few years ago I got more into board games and tabletop roleplaying games. I love to craft fantastical stories and love to create games and scenarios for people to play in, which is the main thing that drew me to become the next DM. I'm still a bit nervous about the whole thing and I'm sure I'll make some mistakes along the way but my main goal is to just make sure that everyone is having fun and is excited about the game. I hope that this experience will help me with DMing and creating games in the future and hopefully will show some of the players just how interesting and fun DnD can be. |
UPDATE:
DM Graduated on October 16, 2015
Congratulations, Paco!
Meet Brendan (AKA Paco). Paco is a Phase 4 student at Making Community Connections Charter School. He comes from a family of gamers, and his family owns a comic book store in Pelham, New Hampshire. On the verge of graduating, Paco wants to pursue video game design, although recently completing his Graduation Research Project on flux pinning (quantum locking) has made him begin thinking of alternate career paths, as well.
Brendan started this Dungeons and Dragons campaign as a chance to demonstrate leadership for his Leadership Role Work Sample and to contribute to the MC2 community in a positive manner. This is actually Brendan's first time interacting with the D&D environment. He has spent time watching veteran Dungeon Masters in preparation for this leadership role.
Brendan chose to start this campaign in Feyrûn because it was a solidly constructed world, and this is his first campaign. He figured having a pre-existing structure would let him focus on learning the mechanics and how to manage players.
